While its nice to know that Angel Beats is finally here in the UK, its launch week wasn’t exactly perfect, in terms of production.īoth the Blu-ray and DVD were released on Monday 25th June 2012, however people who pre-ordered it did not receive it until Friday 29th June 2012, which is near enough a whole week behind its inital launch date – interestingly enough HMV used a variety of different packaging methods that resulted in damaged cases and a further error at the production factory meant that cellophane wrapper / plastic wrapper that covers the case was not included.
Thankfully its now here in the UK at a reasonable price. While Angel Beats might not be one of the ‘well known’ anime shows, such as Dragonball Z or Naruto, it is a popular title and a title that i’ve been wanting in pick up for awhile, but i have always been put off by the insane american price of it. Just over a week ago Manga Entertainment UK unleashed its latest Blu-ray release in the wild, and with it introducing the long awaited Angel Beats Complete Series Blu-ray boxset.
